I NEED YOUR DATING ADVICE !!! — Should I buy a LEXUS luxury SUV, just to impress my dates?
I’m 43 years old. I’m fit, healthy, don’t smoke or drink alchohol, I love to go bike riding, I’ve got a happy and cheerful personality. I’m kind and thoughtful. I’ve got a great job. I’m well educated and intelligent and fairly well off $$$$. BUT; I’m not that handsome (not ugly though) and I currently drive a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I place my ads on Lavalife and a few other sites, reply to other women ages 39-45 and no replies?
I’m just affraid that given by bad luck so far, when my date finally sees my old econo-car, that’s it for the relationship.
My past EX-wife (a real gold-digger) suggested that I am the kindest and sweetest gentleman that she knows and that I shouldn’t be driving a students car as my dates will think that I’m nuts for not moving on with my life.
I can very easily afford a luxury SUV but I wanted to buy a Matrix.
I’m going to keep my Corolla for commuting to work and hauling crap, and the Lexus as my “DATE” vehicle.
Do you think I’m doing the right thing?
Hi everyone. THANKS for the advice, it has helped me to resolve my curiousity.
The fact is that I really like Corollas but I sometimes want to carry some stuff that just won’t fit into the trunk of a Corolla, so I have my heart set on a new Matrix. One with steel rims as opposed to the aluminum ones that get eaten up by the Salt here in Ontario Canada. Its not that I cannot afford a $100,000 car, its just that I see cars as disposable toys and I don’t want to invest a lot into it when I can leave my cash in the market instead.
- I’m not sure if I’d keep the old Corolla as the Matrix is basically a Corolla Wagon. I’ll probably sell it on AutoTrader to give it to a family friend.
- I definitely DON’T want a gold digger as I’ve got far too much assets at risk to lose! Thank god I signed a pre-nup with my EX or she’d be set for life now. (she cheated on me, multiple times, and I was lucky enough to do some detective work and find out everything).
- Thanks again for all the help.
I need advice on which dating site is the better of the two eharmony or match.com?
Help I need your answers please, I don’t want to pay for somthing that will turn out to suck.
